Family Bistro is a unique project that combines a restaurant, café, and playroom. The core value of the project is to create a space where every family member feels comfortable. The interior is adapted to the heights of both adults and children.
This concept is reflected in the logo design, featuring two doors—one large and one small—symbolising a space where everyone feels welcome.
The typographic element of the logo also continues this concept. We selected two font styles: one is formal and sophisticated for adults, while the other is hand-drawn, suggesting the playful nature of the space.
This is at the heart of this project. The interior design was created by my colleague Anna Vaseeva and my goal was to visually connect all print materials with the interior through shapes, lines, and colours, creating a cohesive and unified feel. When clients purchase coffee, they take a piece of the interior with them.
When I create a design concept, I consider its potential for animation and future applications. After delivering the materials to the client, if they have an in-house designer, I am always available to provide oversight and art direction through consultations.
