Posters created
for the an Arts University

Institute of the Arts Barcelona is a world-class performing arts training and higher education institution offering BA (Hons), Foundation and Masters programmes in acting, dance, and musical theatre.

This job has been a rewarding  and fun experience. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with the IAB for several years and of attending performances. This project is one of my most liberating creative experiences, allowing me to use different skills like illustration, animating and creating collages.

Motion Design
as a tool to make posters feel alive

In today’s world, it’s crucial to consider how we use and engage with our online content, especially for the Zoomer generation. I create animated versions of posters to capture attention by displaying our posters online and on outdoor screens.

Posters from scratch
by digital illustrating

Sometimes, we needed to create posters without having any content to include. In such cases, I had to create the entire background image. Although I don’t present myself as an illustrator, I spent five years in art school learning how to draw. Additionally, I have a professional illustrator on my team.

Creating an image
through collage.

For the poster of the show “Plano,” I was given three photos, which I edited, cut, and enhanced with 3D graphics to tell the play’s story.

For the play “The Moors,” I had no content provided. After reading the plot, I found four images online and used them to create a unique piece.

Everything should be
in the same style.

It is important that all printed materials for each show are unified, ensuring that programs, Instagram posts, and flyers maintain a consistent style.

For example, in the dance show “Momentos,” which retains the same name each year, we keep the core idea but give it a fresh touch annually.
